“Thank you, Abby for today’s class. It was a lot to get through, a lot of sort-of ‘intuitive’ stuff that many people think they may already know. But in truth, it’s really valuable to hear it and read it to confirm and clarify things that we think we already know! And the stuff that we hadn’t thought of. You’re a very loving and giving teacher, and I really appreciate you and the familiar way you present info in down-to-earth language.” – Peggy 5/26/2021
“This was a very useful and interesting class. I especially liked the segment on light and lighting and its effect on well-being. Suzanne Cavanaugh’s presentation was unlike any other I’ve heard. Also very useful was Abby’s info about whether or not those with dementia are aware of their changes. I’ve often wondered if my friend is pretending, and just doesn’t want to “play the game” of life anymore. Sometimes it seems that way.. Dave Henry’s segment on cognitive wellness was great info too. This entire class has been more than worth it – a very good handbook for those dealing with dementia either in themselves or in loved ones.” -Attendee 6/1/2021
“Thank you Mr. Urness (elder law attorney) for the comprehensive information, helpful not just in our loved one’s situation, but also planning for our own future.” -Attendee 5/18/2021

“The classes have been wonderful. The more I learn about available resources the better I feel about helping mom navigate through this difficult time.” -Attendee 3/23/2021

“I feel less anxious about if I’m on the right track helping Dad navigate MCI. Having an idea of what to expect, how to respond vs. react gives me more confidence. I want to support Dad however I can. This info demystifies some of the unexpected behavior I’ve noticed. Thank you.” -Attendee 10/27/2020
