We are postponing all window visits and FaceTime/Zoom calls until after we have finished our 14 day quarantine since evacuating. Access to each home is strictly limited and we are not allowing staff to travel between homes. Phone calls may continue during this time. Thank you for your understanding and continued support for the safety of each of our residents!

We have good news! Our residents have been moved back to the EHL campus in Springfield. This was based on direction from the State of Oregon that we were no longer at risk. We want to take this time to thank the Central Presbyterian Church for providing us a safe location for our residents. We also want to thank Lane Transit District (LTD) and Ride Source for providing the buses to transport our residents to and from the church. And finally, we want to thank all of our staff, families, friends, and community members who helped us during this difficult time. Please note that, unfortunately, due to the unhealthy smoke conditions in our area, we will be unable to resume our outside visits until further notice. We are hoping for clearer skies soon!

Here is the latest from our safe location: We are out of refrigerator space and overflowing with food donations. Thank you so much. Please do not bring anymore food. Donations can be made to the American Red Cross, as they are helping coordinate efforts with us. This community has exceeded all expectations with their generosity and caring. We couldn’t feel more loved and supported!

We are so blessed in all the donations of supplies, food, and support during this time. We’d like to take the time to thank everyone for their love. At this time, we could use more medical-grade, disposable gloves and disposable PPE. If you are able to help us with this, you can drop them off at our main office (we are still at Level 1 and have office staff here) or at the Central Presbyterian Church in Eugene. Thank you!

We transported our residents to the Central Presbyterian Church at 555 E 15th Avenue in Eugene yesterday afternoon. Thank you for everyone who has offered support and supplies. A big shout out to LTD buses for helping with the transporting of residents and all the friends and families who were here earlier today to move equipment and furniture with trucks and trailers. At this time, we have enough food and drinks at the church – which is a good problem to have! Thank you and we will continue to keep you all posted. There will be minimal office staff in the main office in Springfield as long as we continue to be at Level 1 Evacuation Risk.
