CAREER PROFILES
Medical/Nursing
Shifts: Days, Swing & Weekends
Overview: The nursing team consists of Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Medical Office staff. The nursing team works directly with the caregiver team, local practitioners and families to manage the medical care of our residents. In addition, the nursing team provides training to our staff, conducts quality assurance audits, and works with each caregiver team to provide the best care possible.
Resident Coordinator
Shifts: Days M – F
Overview: The Resident Coordinator (RC) works in a home environment in a Village setting. The RC is responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day care of residents, coordination of housekeeping, meals and activities in the home. Most importantly the RC leads a team of skilled caregivers.
Direct Care Staff
Shifts: Day, Swing, Night and Weekends
Overview: The Direct Care staff provide a variety of services and are not limited to one task. Working at EHL as a Direct Care Staff means providing recreation activities, cooking, housekeeping and resident personal care. In addition, Direct Care staff pass medications and are part of a team serving as the PIC (person in charge) when the Resident Coordinator is out of the home.
Recreation Staff
Shifts: Day & Weekends
Overview: Recreation staff facilitate various activities such as social events, singing, musical activities, dancing, walks, reminiscing, crafts, baking, sewing, gardening, exercise, and other recreational events. In addition, Recreation Staff accompany residents on outings off site and assists the team in providing resident care as needed.
Administrative Staff
Shifts: Days M – F
Overview: The administrative staff work in an office environment and are responsible for managing the day-to-day functions of the Village. Jobs currently include HR Coordinator, HR Assistant, Administrator, Administrative Assistant, and IT Support.
Environmental & Maintenance Services Staff
Shifts: Days M – F
Overview: The environmental services staff are responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of the Village including: remodeling, preventive maintenance, painting, janitorial, grounds keeping, food distribution and supply.
