Supporting our community is very important to us. We work with local businesses whenever possible, dedicate fundraising efforts for the Alzheimer’s Association, and present educational trainings for families, care partners, and healthcare professionals.

HEALTHCARE EDUCATION
For family members and caregivers, medical professionals, and the general public, we offer educational seminars and workshops about memory loss issues. Our educational lectures and workshops count towards a residential care community’s licensing requirements for memory loss training.
Sample topics include:
- What Is Dementia?
- Behavior Issues
- Seniors and Driving
- Parent Care
- Sexuality and Dementia
- Managing Delirium
- Medications for Dementia
- What to do with Mom
SUPPORT GROUPS
Our support groups are for family members and friends of persons with memory loss. Attendees are from our care community as well as the broader Eugene/Springfield area. We laugh, cry, get educated, learn about resources, and connect with similar voices along the journey of memory loss disabilities.
We meet twice monthly in the Colombia Center on our campus. There is no charge, and refreshments are served. Check out our support group page for more information about specific days and times.
